Location

City of Kranj boasts an excellent location between the capital city Ljubljana (25 km) and popular tourist destinations in the Gorenjska region, which are at the following distances from us: Bled (25 km), Bohinj (50 km), Kranjska Gora (55 km). Ljubljana Jože Pučnik Airport is only 8 km away. Kranj is therefore an ideal choice for those looking for a base from which they can explore all the interesting places on day trips, either by their own transport or by bus. Kranj is also a great starting point for cycling tours.

Villa Apartmaji Boltez is located in the immediate vicinity of the well-known and visible water tower. We are only a 5-minute walk from the city center, passing Prešeren Grove. Nearby are restaurants, a supermarket, a health center, a school complex, and a sports park with an Olympic swimming pool.

Access by car, motorcycle, or bicycle

If you are coming from Ljubljana Airport, turn left towards Kranj and continue straight for about 7 km. After crossing the bridge over the Kokra River, continue slightly uphill for about 100 m. At the first traffic light intersection, turn left. The entrance to the courtyard is immediately on the right.

If you are coming from Ljubljana, take the Kranj East motorway exit (#9), at the roundabout follow signs to Kranj, drive straight to the Kokra bridge. After crossing the bridge over the Kokra River, continue slightly uphill for about 100 m. At the first traffic light intersection, turn left. The entrance to the courtyard is immediately on the right.

If you are coming from Jesenice, take the Kranj West motorway exit (#8), at the intersection turn right and then at the next traffic light turn left towards Kranj. Continue driving towards Kranj, passing the Lidl store; at the traffic lights turn left and continue on the priority road towards the Water Tower. At the intersection turn right. The entrance to the courtyard is immediately on the right.

Arrival by bus to Kranj main bus station

We are only 650 m from the main bus station. Upon arrival, transport assistance can be arranged by agreement.

Arrival by plane at Ljubljana Jože Pučnik Airport

At the airport, you can take a bus (ticket price approx. 3 EUR) towards Kranj and get off at the penultimate stop at the Water Tower, just before the accommodation. See the link below.
